On June 10, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, led by Assoc. Prof. Sumidtra Prathep, MD, Vice Dean for Global Affairs and Corporate Communications, together with the lecturers from the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, extended a warm welcome to the delegates from Guangxi Medical University, PR China, led by Prof. Hao Liang, Dean and Professor of the Life Science Institute.
The purpose of the visit was to introduce the current situation and development of Guangxi Medical University and its Biomedical Engineering discipline. The Faculty of Medicine, PSU, also presented the overview of its own departmental structure and academic development to enhance mutual understanding.
Both parties discussed on the potential collaborations in the fields of Biomedical Engineering and infectious disease prevention and control research, including educational and teaching activities, talent cultivation, and scientific research.
